The IHB Department of Endocrinology was organized to provide comprehensive endocrinology services under one roof. Patients and their families are assured that quality of service is our utmost priority.

The specialist services provided at the IHB Diabetes Clinic include management of older children and adults with Type 1 and 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes and Insulin pump management. We have a fully certified dietician who handles the dietetic department. Diabetes education is also provided to patients. We also provides specialist foot care to patients.

Endocrinology services include management of all varieties of Thyroid (including thyroid cancer), Parathyroid, Pituitary and Adrenal problems in older children and adults. Hormonal evaluation is also undertaken for Infertility. Thyroid fine needle biopsies are performed in our office. Management of Osteoporosis and metabolic bone disorders, Hirsutism evaluation and management, hormonal evaluation of Obesity are other services provided. We are certified in administering Radioactive Iodine to thyroid patients and is also certified in Bone densitometry and Ultrasonography of the Thyroid.
