The Department of Internal Medicine is a base speciality comprised of sub-specialities and super specialities in cardiology, pulmology, diabetes and endocrinology, neurology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, dermatology and psychiatry among others. Just recently, we have made available subspecialities in bariatrics (weight reduction), tropical diseases, preventive medicine, and complete health check run by specialists.
The department is prominently located in the new extension wing of the hospital called IMC or Internal Medicine Centre. It is one of the largest and busiest departments in the hospital.
The department also boasts of a team of expert physicians and their assistants that form the backbone of our hospital care, managing medical diseases, emergencies, critical care and chronic diseases.
The department prides itself in having highly qualified and experienced doctors from various parts of the world who are trained and had worked at leading medical institutions.

We render hospital care, manage various acute medical diseases, medical emergencies and critical care.
We also manage chronic diseases involving multisystems and is under a senior consultant.
We are reinforced by an excellent laboratory, radiology and other state-of-the-art investigatory facilities like pulmonary function lab, EMG and nerve conduction, stress ECG, echocardiograpy, stress echocardiography and doppler studies.
